It's supposed to be a girl that climbed over a bunch of clouds and happened upon a new world! The girl is somewhat hard to see, though, because she's not the focus of the piece. ^^
BUT WOOHOO!!!! I actually finished it! I'd been working on this on and off since early June, and it just.. was FRUSTRATING me so badly! It was supposed to be just for fun, but the more it refused to look like the vision I saw in my head, the more determined I became to "perfect" it.
I'd almost given up on the project altogether.. until I realized the biggest problem with this piece; the color scheme.
I'd imagined some bright and beautiful ice cave, like the one I saw in a dream I had, but I'd trying to force it into a space-themed piece. Once I figured out the problem, I adjusted the color scheme, and finished it rather quickly! I really like the way it turned out in the end! ^^
