Description
Finally got this piece looking somewhat nice, I really struggled with that background! But It’s done now.

There is a bit of back story I’ve come up with about these two characters but I’ll try to keep it short

Basically the Purple and Orange dragons (they don’t have names yet) we’re close friends, and adventurers. Anyways, a problem arises in the kingdom (in the form of a giant monster) as it has begun reeking havoc. The dragon monarch being on his death bead, and having no heirs promises to crown the person who slays the beast.

Purple and Orange decide they’re up for the challenge, and begin the trip towards the monster. Orange has her mind set on the prize, and is a little worried about the fact there is two of them, what if the king reclaims his reward? What is Purple is crowned instead of her? etc. Purple couldn’t care less about being nobility and has only agreed to the task because she is worried about the lives the monster has been affecting.

When they get there they have to fly through this giant precarious chasm to find the beast. Well they do find it, and are successful when killing it! Upon death however, the monster crashes into the side of the cave causing the whole thing to collapse. During this sort of frenzied panic to escape the falling rocks Orange gets a wonderful idea. Orange slices the membrane of Purple’s wing causing her to not be able to fly properly. She ends up getting knocked down with a couple of falling rocks. Orange presumes her as dead and manages to escape the cavern unscathed.
A bit of time latter-
Orange claims her prize and tells the story about how she bravely fought the monster by herself and how Purple died on the trip there. Purple (still alive) manages to find her way out of her rocky grave. After she finds out about the change of management she’s rightfully furious deciding to go ‘confront’ Orange about her actions.
