Description
I was amazed at how Insomniac allowed me to play as Venom for a limited walkthrough in the Spider-Man 2 video game, especially rewatching the other players throughout the main story. I felt like holy smoke there really needs to be a dangerous, cunning and savage depiction of the symbiote Venom as it should be the body-horror monster.This got me thinking about drawing between Harry Osborn and Venom in an abstracting effect as I demonstrated into this concept.

Here, we see a surreal face image of Venom showing his wide-open jaws as the mouth reveals Harry Osborn being consumed by the black tendrils all around him; he is also feeling trapped in a cell and nothing to escape.

The cover was inspired by the Iron Maiden single cover 'The Evil That Men Do' created by Derek Riggs himself. Riggs was also a huge fan of Marvel Comics.
