Good. Very good. Now try this... [link]

I think this is an excellent way to get the message across to people who like to move or drive over cones.

Yes, there are fragile workers behind each cone!

In our street there are people from the next neighborhood riding over much more solid traffic signs. It can give interesting noises in the middle of the night, especially if they drive on for a while wondering what the noise is...

A cone outgrowing its meaning and being grossly self-important! I can only hope something will be done about it. I don't want cones taking over our cities.

Ah, I just realised the focal length is 10mm. That puts things back into proportion, much to my relieve. You see, should oversized cones become standard in the EC, then it wouldn't take long till we would follow. But Switzerland is so small, a few of these cones would outdo the Matterhorn immediately. Can't have that.

Nice shot, and I especially love the dwarf in the background to the right who's marching like a tin soldier.

Cones taking over the country is a major hazard for sure. This reminds me of a good one, that people from Pennsylvannia use: How is the shortest road to go from point A to point B in Pennsylvannia? ... Under construction!
Even with a 10mm, this one is big. Far too big not to be out of proportions.

This would be the perfect monument for Pittsburgh; Pittsburgh's answer to New York's Statue of Liberty or Paris' Eiffel Tower.

Just one request, doe it come in "black & gold"?

nice photo, JD

Thanks, Paul.
Pittsburgh could make one just between the steel building and the PPG tower, just as big... and of course black and gold!

Yes, in that case, I am afraid that somebody lost that sense of proportions!

Not guilty, Ed-honor. The man who made the cone did it too big.

I just have to do more short lens practice.

As always, JD, beautiful execution.
It's a pleasure to see how tools perform when they are used well.

I must confess that the lens didn't do all the trick here. The cone was a tad bit large.
