I feel you. Stats wise it's a very strong craft, but visually It feels weird. I prefer the Morgan over the Falken in terms of visual design.

I did a little research on the craft and it found that it looks similar to YF-19 from Macross.

Yes, the game is Japanese as well, so you can tell the reason of similarities in design.

Well done on this DS! It was weird for me flying the Falken. It had great handling characteristics (except for getting off the runway) and the cockpit view was cool, but the nose and ventral fin bugged me. Just looked kinda out of place, and not as aesthetically pleasing as the Morgan. Just for kicks, I always wanted to see my wingmen firing the laser, but they never would.

It had its uses when I played Ace Combat 0 Belkan War once I unlocked it. Not as many as the MORGAN, but a couple of areas made the 14 seconds of laser fire more useful than the MORGAN's 7 seconds of laser fire or even its Burst Missiles.

Do you guys play AC5 nowadays, last time I played on the HD tv and the graphic was not as thrilling as it was on the pre-HD normal tvs, it made feel sad, as if I have lost something. Is there anyway to play PS2 games on HD tvs without ruining the graphics??

Playing PS2 games on a HD TV isnt a good idea unless you have a converter or the rare type of HD TV which can use the input from older games. Hence I kept my old TV´s since it was well know around gamer circles how bad the graphics were with older consoles on the newer thin TV´s in 2005.

Its a science but once you get it right you can play old games in crisp clear perfect picture

I'll have to try it, I believe I have an HD TV with my PS2. Now that it's mentioned, I thought it was corruption of the disk given its age, had it for years and still do. The motion videos between levels slow, graphics mess up, the game could even freeze up, the latter tends too if you watch the after action scene where you and your team are colored arrows too long. If I remember right, that did start happening when I got a high definition TV, small, but still HD. I don't have my old TV to test, sometimes the FMVs work okay, sometimes they don't.

Ah, tha Falken. I have a sort of love-hate relationship with this one. Can't really explain it well, although I would say it's design and concept are at the same time very dumb and very engaging. Confusing, I know...

Well uh, it was cut from development in both AC: 5 and 0, but its a SICK plane. It craps on the Falken by miles. You should Google it and see it out.

Originally it was gonna have Ballistic Missiles as Special Weapons. This was scrapped later. Overall performance its an improvement over the Falken.

While I liked this jet, I was always more a fan of the X-02 Wyvern. It just sang to me from Ace 4 through 5 and the two PSP games.
