Some poses i drew today to practice different and varied stuff.
They are in chronological order, which means the first ones on the top were warm-ups, and then i escalated the complexity of the poses as i went down, leading to the final two more detailed and complicated poses on the bottom.
I should be able to upload more of these from now on, since i resumed practicing with poses.

Someone may have commented on this already but I didn't read through the comments so if you already have heard this I'm sorry, but on the pose with the bow and arrow its a little bit awkward. When you hold the arrow with your fingers the arrow is going to held between the end knuckles of your index finger (which will be above the arrow) and middle finger (which long with the ring finger and pinky finger will be below the arrow) which also will hold the bowstring back as you pull back to fire. Also the arm holding the bow will never bend.
Fantastic poses though!

About the hand holding the arrow you are right, i made a mistake.
It was probably because i forgot to draw the ending part of the arrow, the wings or something like that xD
Having not drawn that, i drew a hand pose that could get a solid grip on the shaft of the arrow, so i guess this is why i made this big mistake
As for the arm bent, the moment of action is not the one with maximum tension: the bow could be pulled more and the hand looks like it could go further back, so i guess that's why i felt it natural to draw the arm slightly bent instead of drawing it very tensed and straight.
When i draw stuff like these poses, i just begin to draw in something and then complete with what feels natural to me: i have no fixed idea.
I don't start saying "this is going to be a guy shooting a bow in the moment of maximum tension", and in fact this doesn't look to me tensed enough to be called the peak of action xD

Thank you! I started in 2009 but left before the end of the year, and resumed exactly a year ago.
But i haven't been serious about this until the end of September 2013, which would be two months ago xD
I've been drawing randomly and seldom before this decision to stick with drawing, and since i have too many interests i really couldn't focus on that.
But now i understood this is what i want to do in my future: draw my manga and be able to share my story with the world, and this includes being able to effectively represent what i have in my mind.
So this is why i'm working hard to improve as much as i can and finally drawing on a daily basis

Wow *w* Awesome, I started 9 months ago but only got my graphic tablet about 1 month ago, haven't drawn that much in real life since then... I really suck at it xD I have been drawing a lot in my childhood xD And there was a time when I stopped for nearly 2 years... Well, I'm trying to improve my drawings now, any suggestions? ^^

I saw you basically draw finished stuff, i suggest you study some realistic anatomy (bones and muscles) and begin semplifying reality in geometric shapes!
There's time later for the details, now focus on the big picture and in getting those geomtrical shape in place and on studying some realistic anatomy
Just keep practicing and you will certainly improve
There are much better truly great artists you should aspire to surpass xD
But i won't stop, so you'd better hurry up if you want to surpass me!

I actually unfortunately haven't really practiced that much until the end of September of this year, which would be about two months ago.
Before that time, i drew seldom and randomly, because i wasn't really focused on this but instead on my other (too many) interests. xD

I still have a long way to go, but i'm glad you appreciate these.
My best advice to draw poses would be to sketch quickly and fast any perspective and pose you can think of, i basically never used references because i don't like them, but i do recognize i would have probably improved faster by using those, and i suggest you use them as well!
