Description
Hey everyone, I dug out an old unused stock design and decided to take the upper receiver from the guntober day 2 project and quickly rework it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how it came out plus, I haven't done too much traditional looking stuff and thought this would be quick and nice.Originally, this was supposed to use a 7x32mm round but I decided that a 6.8mm is what I wanted to use.

Nice.Β Would the Picatinny rail over the action cause any potential extraction issues?Β Would it have caused balance issues t move it forward along the barrel so as to remove potential extraction problems?Β Make for a heavier firearm, as you'd have to add some weight to the stock, though (depending on sight).

Glad you're interested! I've shot alot of internal box mag rifles with low clearance rails and they're relatively easy to load, especially if the size of the cartridge is on the smaller end like in the design. However, I was working on raising the rail with a spacer earlier today and just now got around to updating the post.
