anyways, the change has been gradual enough that maybe you wouldn't notice, i dunno. but i was cleaning out the ancient artifacts in my deviantwatch and lo and behold i came across some of your older stuff. the change is pretty marked when you compare it to your newer drawings. try going waaaaay to the back of your gallery sometime.

actually, those wounds are all from torture and imprisionment by the dictator. Those wounds cant heal thanks to enchantments used when they were formed but normal wounds can

Well, I can tell you one thing, when a Fengator gets injured they bleed out pretty good. A battle with a Fengator is very messy. We can heal rather quickly though.
