Description My entry for Tomb Raider contest. Whew, it’s really close to the deadline!

My concept in this entry is to show Lara’s courage and optimism. From the trailers and screenshots, I saw that the whole game’s atmosphere would mostly be gloomy. So, rays of light from the sun convinced her that even in the darkest moment, there’s still hope ahead.

As Lara Croft push forward to survive, I also push my skills even further to the limit for this artwork. Therefore, I think win or lose is no longer a matter…

Wow, really cool picture, very nice lighting and everything, great colours and Lara looks great. I do see your metaphor with Hope with that lighting. Good luck with the contest then.

Did you collect all Play Arts Kai lineup? I have few of them, not all, but I mostly like how SE come up with Kai's new size and varied characters.
Anyway, I watch you. Great photos of your collection!

I haven't collected the whole line up. That would have cost me a fortune I do try to get the ones that seem significantly different from others. That way I can have a more controlled hobby

Like with Lara, I was debating between either Lara or Meryl from Metal Gear Solid because they were somewhat identical in appearance apart from the face and hair (and height). I ended up going with Lara because I actually like the character compared to MGS Meryl.

And I am glad you like the photos Your art work is amazing. In my case, I cannot draw or paint even close to your level (or even an acceptable level). So taking photos is as close as I can get

Agreed, and Play Arts Kai is one of the best action figure line, but very expensive too. I got Meryl, because I think it's better to have both her and Snake, as I plan to buy Raiden too.

Well, if you want to start, drawing from action figure is good practice
