I just have to express some emotions through different pictures and words. It means that I will put a couple of pictrues together and add some text there...

I really like this picture. Could I use it as part of my photoshop exercise if I say it's from you?

This is a lovely texture...I appreciate too that you have a very human depth of field for this capture.

a square doesn't need the adjective "perfect"... but if it is "imperfect"... it does need this word.

very logical reasoning and point well made, but it surely depends on context... all but theoretical squares are imperfect and different contexts prescribe different tolerances... two wrongs can't make two right angles

well said, though there are imperfect square that pretend to be perfect. That's why they are perfect in our minds.

the word model, in its many uses strives to portray a notion of perfection
even if by modelling imperfection to promote acceptance that there is perfection just in the way things are

we readily accept models of perfection to fuel our abstract thoughts which include fantasies
the creative mind keeps these models in a box of toys, but i don't think the box is square at all

perfection is shaped by an individual viewer. or not if viewer doesn't need one.

when most people find something perfect, time proves what they really meant is 'that will do for the moment, until i discover it's imperfections'
perfect in such cases is what we have never experienced or have lost... seems perfect or was perfect is more realistic
is perfect may be a term of pure optimist or dellusion.

there is just theoretical perfection...

davespertine In reply to ill23 [2008-07-08 13:15:39 +0000 UTC]

is it a perfect theory?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ill23 In reply to davespertine [2008-07-08 20:50:28 +0000 UTC]

yes, but it's a model with certain assumptions. so not able to transport the model into reality...

davespertine In reply to ill23 [2008-07-08 21:54:53 +0000 UTC]

that depends on which perfection model you use...

i can't think of a model where it is possible.
the world is not perfect, because of the untamable nature and the people within.

davespertine In reply to ill23 [2008-07-09 09:44:53 +0000 UTC]

the simple model where it is possible is to see perfection in things as they are...
we could make the world a much better place.... but first we need a new TV, a new carpet, new car, facelift and bigger breasts
