The thee hideous crones are the mistresses of dark arts and forbidden powers of prohecy. They are initiates of the mysterious Haruspex Order, which has delved into occult learning for thousands of years, reading signs and divining omes in entrails, livers, and gristly intestines, and working fell enchantments in the dark of the night.
