Pretty and vivacious, Angelica serves as a maid in the Royal Castle, where she wins the awkward admiration of Prince Alexander. But Angelica has dark connections that bely her apparently humble station. Her ambitious and murderous brother Duncan is a henchman of dark sorcerers, and necromancers, and their shadow will soon fall tragically over the maiden.

She looks like the sort of character who is super shrewd and introspective, but pretends to be merely competent to make others underestimate her. I like this portrait a lot.
