Hey guys! Haven't uploaded in forever, and felt like it was time to get back in the game.Always wanted to do a Nazi-General style portrait of Red Skull. Painted this about a month or so ago, and wanted to go with a more realistic approach rather than the rubber-face mask the movie had. Felt like giving him more of a fucked-up, evil sinister style look. Basically like any of the SS had

Ironically, Red Skull was every bit the "Poster Boy" that Captain America was.
As whenever you look at the Red Skull, you instantly think of the Nazi Regime.
If he wasn't fictional, I would dare say that Red Skull is more evil and recognizable than Adolf Hitler himself.

I see why everyone says ewww whenever I ask who is Red Skull.

Do you know what I love most about Red Skull? Well the fact that he's so bad and despicable, that even most of the other villains hate and despiseΒ him with a passion, as well as the heroes themselves.
He's like that one really annoying kid that you knew from school, who was such a bloody jerk, that all of the other jerks in the school hatedΒ him as well.
Anyway, great drawing. Looks creepy and awesome!

EVERYONE hates Red Skull. Even Joker. Who wouldn't? He's pure evil, plain and simple. He tried to kill his newborn daughter, because he wanted a boy! He's a whole other level of bad. Even other villains have one redeeming quality. Red Skull has none.

That is very true. Red Skull is just a man who lives to spread pain and hatred, while Captain America lives to spread justice and equality for all.
Not to mention that Skull was also physical and possibly psychologically abusive to his lover, Mother Night despite the fact thatΒ she was completely loyal to him.

Oh, put psychological in too. Mother Night tried to kill herself because she thought she was failing Red Skull somehow. But he stopped her. "Because you'd like that, wouldn't you?"
A diabolical mastermind, a racist, a sexist, a megalomaniac, a killer and a tyrant that wants to rule and make sure that noone likes it, because he gets his kicks out of misery, Red Skull is just pure, raw, unadulterated, irredeemable evil. And he loves every moment of it. The worst part about it is that compaired to other villains, he's not crazy. He's perfectly aware of what he's doing and he loves it. And he could very well be REAL. Such people exist. Comic book fans don't agree on much, but they DO agree that Red Skull is without a shadow of a doubt the most evil of all villains. No standards at all. He's scum.

Yeah, it does frighten me that people like the Red Skull exist and that they can actually have positions of power in this world, so that they are able to abuse the power that they have for their own gains. I mean every villain has a goal even if it an horrific one, Magneto wants mutants protected from humanity, Apocalypse wants the strongest to dominate and purge the weak, the Kingpin just wants to run his criminal empire. But Skull has none of these goals, sure he wants to take over the world as supreme dictator, but he's not doing it for a specific goal just besides that just what he wants. I mean the only time he showed some standards was when he teamed up with Viper (Madame Hydra) and he hadΒ to cut her off because of how psychotic she was. But he didn't do it because she was hurting people or that she was causing too much damage, he did it because she was wasting his money and the chaos she was causing had no benefit to him. Either way Red Skull is a man who loves to spread death and destruction not because he believes in a creed or set goal, he does it because he finds it fun.

Very nice and it looks better than the film version...however they had to give him actual lips in the movie so that dictated the design somewhat. Just imagine this guy trying to form anything outside the vowel category coherently!
