I havent watched Sailor Moon in years! Then I pick up an old Animerica mag and see Sailor Moon and her pals nearly flashing us with a panty shot (but not completely thanks to Uber!editing!
) and nostalgia kicked in.I decided on Sailor Uranus because she kicked @ss. AND she was adrogenous (I can spell, really....) xD Dunno, but that's hot.
Shoujo ai doesn't thrill me that much, but this couple is so sweet! @3@ I can't BELIEVE Cartoon Network made them "cousins". Uh huh. When in doubt, make them cousins! Kuz THAT makes it better! e_e
AND PLEASE don't mention Haruka's legs! ;O; I had no reference handy so I had to sit like that and feel it out. Same with Michiru's legs >_< Sowwiez....I know it's wonky.
All in all, nostalgia is fun!

Oh and, technically it was DiC that made Uranus and Neptune cousins. Although, I really wonder why they even tried because as a naive nine year old I realized that there was something seriously wrong with the fact that Uranus liked dressing up as a guy. And I love my cousins, but I never ran around holding their hands. >.>

SM was THE first anime I ever saw, and this was the first couple I ever shipped. I loved these two together before I even knew what shojo-ai was. ^_^ You did an awesome job on them.

I think the legs look fine! They only look strange in that Naoko usually has them ultra thin legs, I think they look better this way!

Anywho, I love these guys so much xD I love Uranus's androgyny and Neptune's elegance! (Those two are my favorite planets, too, for the record xD)
The faces you have here are beautiful, and I love how stylized the legs are. They're believable, and yet, as I said, stylized at the same time, which is just lovely.

Aw...I remember this show! Sailor Uranus was awesome! And ANYBODY with eyes could see that they were lesbians on the edited version. Shoot...a little girl (about 8 at the time) even guessed that they were lesbians. Funny XD! I guess editing doesn't work all the time. That's why I'm starting to watch my anime unedited. Seems better that way.
Nice coloring. I need to learn how to use those markers. What did you draw the sketch on? Did you use plain old paper or something else?
