WARNING: Before I begin running my mouth, I'm just letting you know that I'm not a Trump supporter or a Republican or anything like that. However, I do stand conservative on certain issues. I'm not a person of color, but I'm calling out a common attitude among smug white liberals. Comments will stay off for obvious reasons.
One mentality that I really hate is that people (mostly white liberals) assume that if you're a person of color, you have to be liberal and woke. Well guess what: people of color aren't a monolith and they don't all have the same political opinions. Yes, people of color usually do vote Democrat, but it's not universal. There are plenty of conservatives of color out there. A good number of Asians vote conservative since Asian cultures tend to be conservative and family-oriented. The same is true for many Latinos who vote conservative. Blacks do tend to be more consistently Democrat, but even then there are plenty of dissenters. Also, popular liberal figures of color aren't universally beloved by their communities. For example, there are plenty of Latinos (including Puerto Ricans) who hate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I remember people were going on about how Florida was "unsafe" for Latinos even though DeSantis got over half of the Latino votes in Florida. (And BTW, even among liberal Latinos, most of them DO NOT want to be called "Latinx", despite liberals insisting on the term.) In fact, the number of conservatives of color are increasing - more people of color voted for Trump than for Romney or McCain. Even among people of color who vote Democrat, they aren't all "woke" like the left-wing media wants you to believe. (Honestly, I think there's a difference between being liberal and being woke. You can still be liberal and have the occasional conservative stance. For example, there's people who vote Democrat who don't want Lia Thomas competing against biological women.) People can vote for whoever they want to. Oh, and you have no right to label conservatives of color "Uncle Toms" and "Aunt Jemimas", or tell them that they're voting for the "wrong" party. If anything, that makes you look like a bigot.
