DaBair — People are actually supporting these monsters?

Description WARNING: Before I begin, I'm just letting you know that I don't hate Arabs, Muslims, or Palestinians. I do, however, support Israel and Israel's right to exist, and I stand with Israel even in the face of left-wing anti-Semitism. I also support real history instead of the false narrative perpetuated by Hamas and their allies. Comments will be disabled for very obvious reasons.

I've been following the recent war in Israel, and from the coverage I've seen, I found out some really disgusting and appalling stuff. Many young Americans, in particular college students, have come out not just in support of the Palestinians, but in support of Hamas. Yes, HAMAS, the terrorist organization who started the war in the first place! This is mind-boggling and incredibly insulting. And what's even more disturbing is that many of these students would probably be shot dead if they actually went to Gaza. Many of the pro-Hamas protestors identify as LGBT, have dyed hair, piercings, and tattoos, and dress in revealing clothes. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (who is of Palestinian descent and is one of the dreaded "squad" that also includes Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) has also come out in support of Hamas, and even a lot of Democrats are appalled with what she's been saying. Imagine if something like 9/11 happened today - these brats would cheer on the terrorists instead of mourning the victims of the terrorist attacks. I shudder to think what these people would have done during 9/11 - I'd imagine they would have been cheering on al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.

Hamas are terrorists, plain and simple. They are also murderers, kidnappers, and rapists (and their victims include underage girls), and they've been directly controlling Gaza for nearly 20 years, where they've imposed Sharia law on the citizens of Gaza. In fact, they don't even care about the safety of their own people - they've left people in the throws of danger even when people could be easily evacuated, not to mention using people as human shields and forcing women, children, and elderly to participate in suicide bombings. (Israel, on the other hand, evacuates people the best they can.) Why would anyone support these monsters? In fact, Arabs living in Israel have it better than their counterparts in Gaza and the West Bank. They can freely practice their religion, they can serve in the IDF, and they don't have to worry about being beheaded. On the other hand, Jewish settlers in the West Bank are not allowed to become citizens of Palestine. LGBT is also legal in Israel and pride parades have been held in the cities, whereas nearly every Arab country (with the exceptions of Jordan and Bahrain) criminalizes LGBT. In Iran, which isn't an Arab country but is extremely anti-Israel, people are executed for being gay on a regular basis.

Hamas has done very disgusting stuff in the past. Back in 2007, they created a children's show called Tomorrow's Pioneers that was overtly violent and disturbingly anti-Semitic. Most notably, the show used a Mickey Mouse knockoff named Farfour to brainwash children into supporting Hamas (one particular episode has Farfour explaining to kids what an AK-47 is). The fact that this disgusting propaganda was aired for TWO WHOLE YEARS before it was thankfully taken off the air should appall anyone. In fact, the children who saw it are adults now, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of them ended up joining Hamas.

Young people don't even know the real history of Israel. Yes, Jews and Judaism are native to Israel. It's in the Bible, for God's sake, and it's backed up by archaeological evidence. Arabs only arrived in Israel in the 7th century with the rise of Islam. Israel was also considered a backwater area of the Muslim empires, with more focus being given to urban centers such as Cairo, Baghdad, and Damascus. In fact, many (but not all) Palestinians are descended from early 20th century migrants from neighboring countries, who took advantage of the development brought about by the Jews participating in the first aliyah. A two-state solution was proposed, but Arab leaders rejected it and launched a war instead. Also, hundreds of thousands of Jews were expelled from Arab countries after Israel's creation in 1948, and most of them settled in Israel. None of the wars in Israel were started by Israelis - all of them were started by either Palestinians or neighboring Arab countries. (Oh, and here's another frightening fact: the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem collaborated with the Nazis and was friends with Adolf Hitler.) The pro-Palestine narrative also erases Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews (among others) by inaccurately portraying Israelis as all being white Europeans. Many Americans don't even realize that not all Jews come from Eastern Europe. Israel has Jews from all over the world, which includes black Jews from Ethiopia and Indian Jews from Kerala. In fact, Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews outnumber Ashkenazi Jews in Israel. Israel is not a "colonizer".

So there you have it. Anyone who supports Hamas is delusional, ignorant, and clearly out of their minds. So please educate yourselves and stop being anti-Semitic bigots.
