I've been wanting to draw her for a while, so here she is. This is my Fullmetal Alchemist OC who goes by the alias 'Echo'. Yes, the tattoos may look familiar... I kidnapped them from the mermaid I drew for my grandfather a few years back. Aside from some issues with her right arm that sprang up during inking, I'm relatively pleased with how this pic came out. And I know what some of you may think, her clothes don't fit the 'time period'. Though to be fair, have you people looked at Paninya or Winry for that matter? Anyway..

A little about my OC:

Name: Moriah Porter
Codename: Echo
Alchemy: Sound-based
Age at introduction: 18

Echo is a mercenary, selling her services to questionable clients. With transmutation circles patterned on her gloves and boots, she uses her sound-based alchemy to aide in her 'missions'. Through the use of this alchemy, she can manipulate sound waves, altering them to fit her needs. When faced with adversity, she favors a strategy in which she stomps her boots (activating their circles) and causes the ground to shake... causing anyone pursuing her to initially mistake her alchemy for that of the earth variety. She wears ear muffs to avoid her more potent transmutations from effecting her as harshly as it does her opponent.
She became a mercenary at the age of sixteen for reasons no one is quite sure of. However, the tattoos that she bears are said to be a direct result of her chosen profession. Echo claims they resemble the shattering of her innocence.

I've developed more of a back story than what I've written. However, I'm electing not to post it in the event I decide to include said information in one of my fics or something.

Anyway, that's Echo in a nutshell. The symbol beside her is my idea of a sound transmutation circle. As far as I know, I'm the first to come up with this type of alchemy...

Echo has a minor role in my recent sickfic, 'Fevered Flame Alchemist'. She appears only in the first chapter, but she's in there.
