Kitty! I always really like neko characters. This one is really neat. My only issue is that her black clothing blends alittle too much with the black background. That's the only problem that I can see though.

I really like the colors you used in her hair and bow, the contrast is great in both of them! Also good job with the lineart, I like the thickness variety, it makes the drawing much nicer~

I colored the hair after trying many different styles out on previous pictures and decided to color as seen above, I like how it turned it and am really glad you do too!
I really like to change the thickness here and there because, as you said, It adds variety which I also like in pictures :3 however I'm still finding it a little tricky to ink things cleanly, seems my hands a little to tense :S

Your lines look very clean to me! But I find it very hard too, I usually have to undo the line many times to get it right D: I sometimes do "line exercises" to help my hands move more freely, like using my arm movement to draw the line instead of my wrist, and I think it helps a little! Drawing freely with a pen on paper has also helped me, maybe it'll work for you too~
