Part 2 of my concept commission comic made by www.deviantart.com/oswaldojime…As previously mentioned....
In the beginning of The Dimensional adventure, Dipper and Mabel get separated by universes. Mabel ends up in Amphibia, while Dipper ends up in the boiling isles.
This scene here is a concept for a subplot I had in mind. When the beings of Amphibia meet Mabel, Sprig immediately volunteers his family to take care of her. It's later shown that he is desperately trying to make life the way it used to be with Anne, from calling Mabel the "new Anne" and even going as far as making her lose a shoe and put twigs and leafs on hef hair. Letting go of Anne is still hard on him.
Hop pop knocks some sense into Sprig here. But little do they know that Mabel is listening in on them. And she can't help but feel sorry for the little frog. As she can feel just how attached he was to Anne.
