Description
He charges the monster a sword in hand. The blade is bronze, and glowing he runs it through the snake-woman. As he approaches me my knees feel weak, I collapse the poison spreading through my veins. My breathing is choppy has the boy bends down beside me. The world goes silent I see his lips moving but no sound echoes out. Black dots invade my vision, all color is engulfed in the blackness and so am I.
My eyes fly open the smell of strawberries invade my senses. My head throbs with pain clouding my thoughts.
"You're finally awake." a voice calls from my side I turn my head and sitting there in a wooden chair is the boy that saved me. "You've been out for a week. If you didn't wake up soon everyone was going  say you were in a coma, which I wouldn't doubt considering that the venom that Draco Aionius injected into you but there's always no harm in being optimistic." he smiled. My face burned again and my heart beat fast.
"Am I at Camp Half-Blood?" I asked I knew it was a stupid question but I had to be sure.
"Yes you're safe now, you should rest up you've got orientation.," he said standing up.
"I've been asleep for a week I think I'm good on rest." I replied standing up. He was taller than me by an inch. I was still in my clothes thank  gods. "Were are my platforms?" I asked raising my eyebrow. He pointed to a corner a stupid grin on his face.
"Since you can stand lets see if you can walk."  he said keeping eye contact with me. His eyes only went down a little so he could keep the contact. He was challenging me I couldn't help but wonder if he knew who I was. I took at step and started my descent to the floor.  Arms wrapped around me and I stopped falling. A white smile and cocky green eyes stared down at me. "Looks like you aren't as rested as you thought." he mocked lifting me up.
"Shut up!" who is this guy? He laughs .
"Then you'll have to find a knew guide." he chuckled.
"What's your name?" I asked might as well know who my rescuer was.
"Percy, Percy Jackson and you?" he asked holding out a hand. I took it and replied.
"Amber, Amber Willis." I said my face turning a little red. I knew he saved my life I was indebted to him. "Thanks." I mumbled.
"What?" he asked he didn't hear I could tell there was no sarcasm or cockiness in his voice.
"Thank you for saving me." I said my face burning I let go of his hand and stormed to my platforms. My feet slipped in easy, I tied them and stood up.
"Your welcome." he said "Come on lots to see." he said we walked out of the room down stairs. As soon as we were outside I knew that this was going to be my knew home.
Has he showed me around I noticed that everyone was staring at us. At first I thought I was being paranoid until Percy whispered in my ear.
"Looks like everyone heard about the fight I had with my girlfriend before I found you."
"What happened ?" I asked. I knew he'd have a girlfriend.
"She got mad at me cause I was at the library studding and group of girls sat at my table and started talking to me. She came in and got me kicked out for life." he said.
"Oh I'm sorry."  I said. That had to have been so embarrassing.
"It's not your fault. I'm kind of glad we got in that fight."
"Why?"
"Well she was nagging me constantly and she was making it feel more like marriage then dating." he said smiling. I smiled to I liked hanging out with him. When we got to the cabins I was worried I wouldn't see any for Hades. Then I saw it, the cabin was black and looked like a haunted mansion that had been shrunken and brought here. Instantly I walked to it and traced it.
