- Lovely use of color! The light blue vs. red vs. golden beige.
- Model is talented and emotive + good direction. Hand is my favorite part, maybe better/more interesting if her back was arched other way though.
- Concept is not new, but execution is fabulous.
- Commercial value is there for advertising i.e. evokes high-fashion feel.
- I wish there was maybe a little bit more drama with the flower, or it could be absent all together. Something about the way it is now falls just short. Again, the use of color is fantastic so the flower color is great but maybe if it was bigger or something about it was dramatic?
- Great lighting and editing.

This is such an amazingly beautiful self portrait! I have never seen sand used in this way for a portrait. not only to partially bury one's self, but also to layer some of the sand on other parts of the body is such a one of a kind idea! Doing that layering gives her extra dimension that would otherwise be lost if she were just laying on top of the sand. Also the choice of color for the flower which is a soft color and soft like her skin tone, but having that contrasted with the extreme brightness of her lip color works so well! There is nothing about this that I would want to change. It is absolutely stunning!

I don't like. Is there a symbolic message? Woman and the flower in a bath of a dead compound? She looks like she is drowning or at least overwhelmed. Maybe I need a new tablet this one is cracked.

Unique texture for a photo with a person, and I imagine she probably had a lot of cleaning up to do afterwards... that stuff gets EVERYWHERE. XD
