Lovely piece!
This is a very stunning image, and I mean that by all accounts. The colors, though warm and subtle, come through vividly and vibrantly and stand to accent this photo and not overwhelm the emotion of the piece. The colors come through so well because the lighting is set so well and the choices in clothing and makeup and backdrop contrast perfectly so as to give the shot a brilliant character. All of these details work their magic toward contrasting with the emotion of the model (ahem...nice work) which is the true center of the project, the core of what you do so brilliantly. One can't help but be reminded of the great works of Rembrandt and Vermeer when looking at this.

Very witty, and I like the harsh lighting you've cast her in. Excellently conveys the concepts. In fact it reminds me very much of an oil painting in the manner of the colours. It certainly adds power however it's been done.

This piece is heartachingly beautiful and perplexing. Weirdest thing is, that those visible veins on her temple were the cherry on top for me.

'Behind a Jester's Blue Eyes'. Colour is crisp, vibrant, and suggestive. Colour contrasts with the emotion as much as shadows create contrast between light and dark. This photo, in oil form, could be a perfect chiaroscuro example by Caravaggio. As to the facial expression: one can sense theatrical talent in the depths conveyed. Looking forward to see more.

Is their symbolism? Did she make a fool of herself at the party? After the party she has regrets? It doesn't have to be a party but it can be about life. We all do things that are regrettable because of whatever motivation. That is what I see. Draw a happy or uplifting one next.
