Made a 2 Ingredient Cake! This cake used only eggs and chocolate!!! This is the second time I've made it actually. The first time I used a regular 9 inch pan and I tapped it one too many times to get the bubbles out. It ended up being really flat and brownie like. So I went out and bought a 5.6 inch pyrex glass baking dish and lined it with parchment paper exactly like the video showed me and it came out much better this time around. really this is a 3 ingredient cake because I added vanilla to the egg whites but to be honest... the taste is no different to the 2 ingredient one. NOW, taste-wise this isn't very sweet. However just like Ochikeron states, it is low in calories and could be a very good way to curb that chocolate craving if your watching what you eat. I used godiva chocolate the first time and the second time I used grocery store brand semi-sweet chocolate chips. I have to say the second try is much more chocolate tasting vs the godiva chocolate! So if you make this I suggest not to waste money on expensive chocolates like godiva. Your better off just using a generic store brand or Hershey's or something. The godiva blanded out after it was all done and I was very disappointed in that. Texture is like moist brownie-cake. If you add the powder sugar atop it will taste a tad sweeter. I didn't put any syrup topping like Ochi did on her video but I wasn't interested in doing that.

What would I do next time? Well... seeing as this is actually my second attempt and I decided to add vanilla which turned out to not make any sort of difference...and I decided to be frugal this time around and just use some grocery store brand chocolate chips I had laying around; I really don't have much idea what I would do next. I suppose the next time I make it I will use white chocolate or some other chocolates instead! perhaps it will taste even better?
