Again with teh ephemeral graphic background!
Love the splotchy treatment of the body wash (recommended for the tapir's morning bath)...The pose, while technically "static," retains that fluid gestural quality of the Indian Water Buffalo (which is again not a characterization you often hear applied to the Indian water buffalo).
This one reminds me, I could almost see this style applied to your old (well, not THAT old) D&D redux pieces!

The blotchiness come from some newly re-found textures. They needed somewhere to stand, not just in an empty white warehouse.
I need to go back to the D&Ds. I am finding physical drawing a bit daunting at the moment.

Yes you are right. Not true bison though. I think its the big hump that does it.
