“Cusp of Magic” represents the period of transition between the third sign of the Zodiac and the fourth. Born on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer, I wanted to reflect on this period by creating a piece with these two constellations within the eyes. The expression should give a sense of wonder or curiosity, encouraging the viewer to zoom out beyond themselves, beyond this planet, and envision the vast complex we are all apart of. Today, June 17th, marks the beginning of the gemini-cancer cusp, the “Cusp of Magic”.
