History: Artemis was born and raised at a coal mine just outside of Vermilion City. His family had been working at the mine for 3 generations now. They lived in a small house and his parents had 13 children. Most of the children went to work in the mine like there father and grandfather before them but Artemis didn't want to spend the rest of his life down there.

As he grew up he started to go on adventures away from home. He would box on the street or do the odd job to get around from place to place. the only tranportation he used was the boat. Every other time he would run from city to city sometimes without stopping. His gift was running and when there was a marathon he was in it. His travels lead him to Lilycove City where he met a farm girl and fell in love with her.

She taught him to slow down and relax and even got him to paint. He was terrible at painting! But, she loved everything he painted and would even add to it and together they made something beautiful. The farm girls parents didn't like Artemis though and sent the girl off to school far away. So, what did Artemis do? He went to that school and got a job as an assistant to the coach of that school. After a year he went off to teachers college and had planned on marrying his love when he returned.

Turns out nothing goes according to plan..... When he returned he found out that his love had gotten really sick and had passed away that Winter. Devistated, he ran. Maybe he was hoping that if he ran so fast he might be able to go back in time or maybe he was just confused by his sorrow. The Gods themselves must have took pity on him and lead him to the island. From then on he has been a teacher at at the Armonia Academy.

He is a tough teacher but he will give you credit for blood, sweat, and tears!

Hobbies: Running, jogging, swimming, painting believe it or not, sports ( all but golf )
