In the aether, the people are between the gravity that pulls people to the ground, and pulls them away, which stretches the people of the aether, so although she's young, she's taller than most all of her friends, because the gravity slightly pulls people away, it's much easier for people to walk on the aether, but since Cloudy is travelling alot in dimensions underneath the aether, she becomes very heavy, and can't even support herself, so she has to use a wheelchair.
