I tried out isometric projection in Photoshop. Creating the initial layout was an absolute pain but I'm quite happy with the result.
My DnD character basically bunks out in the spare room of his sisters' tavern/brothel. These days its' mostly a repository for his outfits, adventuring gear and notebooks, but his backstory and adventures have nonetheless left a mark.
