Description A string of F3's flies east into the Lisle station on the Burlington's racetrack bound for Cicero yard. In 1964 this was all farmland. Today it is completely built up.

CB&Q holds a special place in my heart.

My grandfather worked for them, and when I was a kid, he took me all over the system.

I lived by the C&NW but it always seemed second rate compared to the Q which had all that stainless steel.

This was a freight. I never saw F's in Q passenger service.
