The ornament on her forehead is awesome it's so shiny. You did an amazing job on the eyes, I think the only thing that could be done for this portrait would be to darken up some of the areas around her head, like the left side of her neck for instance. I'd just buy a pack of tortillions and build up the graphite there. I noticed you said you use tissues, which is what I use for large portions of skin, but tortillions are good to have to help blend areas that require fine detail, like the eyes, or to not erase the graphite. I find that when I use kleenex on very dark areas it just rubs the graphite off...maybe that's why your lacking the high end contrast?

yeah i spent hours trying to get the dark areas really dark!! they are actually pretty black on the original! i usually tend not to blend the darker areas, as it does rub off! i generally don't blnd on the eyes or i use a cotton bud... i tried a tortillion but couldn't really get on with it!

Maybe a blending stump would work for you better? I don't use them exclusively but I think they ar perfect for blending very dark areas. They are the best when it's just covered in graphite, then blending dark areas is simple and even makes it darker

i'm good thank you!! i've been very busy lately...i've started selling jewellery on ebay so i spend most of the time listing... it's very boring and so time consuming!!! not to mention that i'm trying to plan a wedding also.....so stressful!!! how are you?? hope everythings good!

that is a good idea... do people buy a lot of jewelry online? i mean it's not like a regular job where you have to stay on your feet for like 8 hours a day... and you still get an opportunity to make money right?
umm.... being a junior in high school is awful. i hate it. it is so much pressure! garrr! in the next two weeks alone i have to take 3 AP tests and 2 SAT II's ... then i get to take the SAT reasoning test... and three more finals. damn me to hell - i'll be better off than what's coming to me!

It's quite nice to be able to earn some money, my boyfriend works very hard so now i don't feel so guilty!! It's not a lot of money but it's still money ...lol! there is actually a lot of jewellery on e-bay!!
my stuff is not selling too brilliantly at the moment but then i have hardly any feedback because i've just started.
Good luck with all tjhe tests, i hope you do well...... i definately don't miss school!!! although i don't remember so many tests!! i think we had sats then mocks and then our gcses.
