First thing's first.. I've had this comic hanging around in my browser for the longest time.. when this drawing was just posted. And I've been neglecting to comment on it since then to the point that whenever my boyfriend would use my laptop, he would see this drawing on the top XD So he keeps randomly saying "LANDWHALE" to me now and it's become sorta bizarro in-joke. All because of your drawing. Curse you!
Anyway.. this is still so awesome "XDDDD" I just love the energetic expressions.. and how the mood quickly shifts from saddening to just plain silly and charming. A simplistic little story, but told with such liveliness. I feel so bad for the poor landwhale ;.;
You did very well starting the story with no dialogue and just making the pictures speak for themselves. That's honestly a very good skill to have.. the landwhale keeps giving me a Kirby-like vibe "XDDD" Probably because of how carefree he looks and how he just sucks all those birds in. Poor things!
So yeah.. I love this ";___;" Interesting style you have! And I like the antics that the landwhale gets himself into.. so yeah ;.; Great jobbb~! His wagging tail makes the comic "XDDD"

The face it makes when it's on land is the cutest face ever. I love this comic so much, that landwhale's adorable and so cuddly looking. ...For a giant, water-based mammal that is. Also, an excellent hiding spot for hide-and-seek, if you don't mind the slightly fisy (or birdish?) smell. XD
