Description
Enesa is another fursona character I've been working on and honestly, now that I've finished her design I've become a bit more fond of her than Tanesee lol.
I wanted a character that, if I decide to get into fursuiting, I could still use my wheelchair and dress up as. thanks to some recent health issues, I can't stand or walk for very long so a character that wouldn't require me to wear my prothetics for the suit at all is also an added plus. So Enesa was born!
She inspired by a story I saw on twitter written by a paraplegic lady (I'd link to it, but I wasn't able to find it again ). A little girl asked her why she was using a wheelchair. Rather than explain that her legs "don't work" and why, then having to deal with the ever-awkward "Oh that's sad", she decided to tell the girl she was a mermaid, and her legs were an illusion. She was using a spell that just made it look like her tail was a pair of legs, but she can't actually walk with them because she's not very good at magic. I really liked the story, so I decided to make a merdragon character (since mermaids were not really ever my thing haha)

I also decided to give soft-shading another go for this piece. I haven't done anything in that style since I did Bionic's commission, and I haven't done any since I changed up my lineart style. I also haven't done a background (other than one-colour or a simple gradient) in forever! All things considered, I think it turned out rather well, and I'm really happy with this piece!
