Description Had so much fun with the last character matte ( [link] ) that I went ahead and did another character of mine. I'll see if I can work my way through my roster--it's great practice and makes for some nice portfolio pieces


6 hours-ish. Photoshop CS6 and Cintiq 21ux

Edit: tweaked a few little things that were bothering me. Just some minor things around the mouth and eyebrows ...

I really love the technique you are using for the skin and hair texturing, beards are very hard to portray but you nailed it

thanks I'm looking at him now and I think I'll be changing a few things in the next day or so, but it was fun to do a not-traditionally-handsome gent.
