I like the old school spidey look here. my favourite superhero. still read them. the movies never did much honor to what he's really about and for some reason they just couldn't keep stuff honest to the comics. then again I also respect the different view of spider-man the movies gave us all.

yea, i have mixed feelings about the movies myself.i like sam raimi's other stuff like uh...xena? nah not really.i liked evil dead..i was half awake when i saw the new on and wasnt super impressed with how they portrayed peter parker as this skateboarding photographer hipster type.bah.
anyways , its interesting seeing these peoples take on the comics, you have to be aware that they have these financial backers breathing down their necks telling them to throw in more tits and explosions and whatnot.

yeah.
of course they have the right to give a bit of an artistical touch and a change here and there, but I've yet to see a superhero movie that didn't mess something up from the stories that the hero originated.

haha yea , i noticed that a lot of people draw spiderman like he doesnt have a nose under the costume which always bugged me, i'm all about a real costume. you ever read a comic called 'kick ass'? its pretty good, bunch of teenagers in costumes with no superpowers getting the shit kicked out of themselves.
