Description So, I present you the new dino I've recently finished for Prehistoric Kingdom

Since my main task for the project got shifted to the creation of low poly models you won't see any sculpts or textures of these models, because this is mainly a job for the ZBrush users in the team. Unfortunately, my computer isn't able to handle such ultra detailed meshes as you might have seen at galleries of some ZBrushers. ( robertfabiani 's Tyrannosaurus is such an awesome example or Manuelsaurus recent render of an Allosaurus pair , which I adore very much.)
The later Compsognathus will likely look much different than in this render with a default color on the model.

Yeah, but I still sculpt my own models I create aside from PK as a way to practice Blender related things and those, that fall into the general 3D area, albeit it is taking its time until the high resolution version is finished.

Thank you for 's, comments and just for looking at the render

Thank you a lot for your appreciation and that you are interested in Prehistoric Kingdom

Well, your English is ok for me, because English is a foreign language for me too.

Wow, I'm excited about this game! It looks like it'll be really neat, like a return to Zoo Tycoon but with nicer graphics and more accurate models. Your work looks lovely.

Oh, that's always nice to hear and thank you kindly for your praise
Since many technological development has taken place after the years, when JPOG or Zoo Tycoon got released, there is now the possibility to create better graphics and more detailed models.

That sounds fair. There have certainly been a few leaps in computers since then, haha. I'll have to keep an eye out for the development of this.

Well, somehow I'm a bit lagging behind the technological changes, haha. Some of the team members have a better hardware than I

I wish I had the actual Compsognathus concept art here at my hands, but I don't
Somehow, I also can't remember if a concept art for this critter has ever existed... who knows.

If there isn't, then you could be the lucky dino to provide it!
Would have free reign over the design and colors and stuff, let your imagination just do whatever  <3

I dunno why, but somehow it's gotten into my head that every time I think of a compsognathus I always think of these energetic, perpetually cheerful, and excited dinosaurs that just bustle about with their limitless reserves of energy and rampant curiosity, just being all adorable and loveable <3

The problem with providing a concept art for Compsognathus is, that I'm not employed as a concept artist for the project. If it were my own model, then it would be soon colored and sculpted, but as I mentioned my task for the game is low poly model making.

When I try to picture a Compsongathus, then I usually end up in the same way as you described them. They are so small, nothing more than some bones plus some flesh and maybe with a coat of feathers, thus I see this dino as a very active one, which can't sit still for long.

Ah gotcha.
Seems like a lot of my friends are involved with some big project or whatnot. Kinda jealous xP

Heheh yeah, I can't help but see them as being anything other than cute x3
(Though like with any animal, still gotta treat them with respect and whatnot. They can still bite and claw you!)
sta.sh/2q2pxx93o6y Cute!  Mischevious. energetic, always excited... Hehe, can't help but see 'em like that.
(First pic is totally a mischief-raptor. Second was an adoptable set up to look like a fantasy adventurer. I missed both the Compies and both the deiny's, but I did get the Pyroraptor 8D  Third one is a compsognathus working at some coffee shop xP)

Aww, that one at the coffee shop is so adorable
It would be fun seeing a compsognathus bringing me a cup of coffee, because I drink at least three cups of that per day.
Sure, if a bunch clutched at you, while they were biting and digging their little claws into your skin it wouldn't contribute to one's amusement.

Given the size of that coffee cup, the lil guy probably is bringing that to an equally large dinosaur hehe

Would make for a cute image ^^

Oh yes, anything with claws and teeth must be treated carefully. Especially the bigger ones D:
I'd imagine that a younger or more feral compy would still be a bit painful if it was clutching to you trying to show affection, since those claws
If they were trained well though, raised rightly and all that (Intelligence adds to this of course), then they'd be easier to have around. Would take a lot more for them to start using those claws and teeth hehe.

Fantastic model, I love it.
The work of anatomy is great and that makes it more realistic model after the detail it. Surely you would do a great job sculpting and detailing.
Greetings my friend

Thank you much for your feedback and telling me your opinion about this model.
Well, I try to get the anatomy of the animals right through looking at extant species, but for providing the game with detailed sculpts I just need a better computer.

Have a nice day, my friend.
