Since I saw Mark Bagley's cover for Lethal Protector#2 in the nineties it never really left my mind. I still find it's one of the best and most gorgeous covers ever. But I just had to try to outdo that one. I know that's hardly possible but the image of VENOM crawling out of the dark right over your head is just an imagination as cool as it is terrifying. That cover was the first image of Venom I've ever seen as a kid and I've loved the character ever since. You've perfectly captured everything that is Venom right here, this is simply fantastic.
