This is so cool. It appears every time I look into the photography settings in Submissions, and I am happy to have found it on the site. May I ask how you kept the background black? Night skies usually appear dark blue in my photographs.
Anyway, I love this photograph. It reminds me of the dragon-tree firework from the firstΒ Lord of the Rings movie.Β

Thank you so much! From my experience it seems that when my camera is focused on a light source or something else that is bright, the background will be darker. I believe that is why the night sky came out as it did. Again, thank you and I appreciate your support!

It's been so long I really don't remember the setting I had haha. I know it was a 30 second exposure though. Sorry :/

I know that i am like the 400 comment or whatever, but i Have done a few of these shots myself and i have been wanting to a reflections type one as well. Any tips. I have to do these alone so i have to focus as well, were you able to do this shot on your own?
p.s OMG THIS IS AN AMAZING SHOT AND I AM KIND OF JEALOUS!
