Yeah and now they are open for a buyout

Aside from SF characters, Capcom is sitting on some of the most iconic and beloved characters and they did squat

> The last properly numbered Resident Evil was received lukewarm
> Lost Planet 3 was a failure
> DmC while good IMHO split the fanbase. I don't think it would've hurt their bottomline if they just launched it as a new IP altogether by Team Ninja (Ubisoft is banking on how many open world games now?)
> What happened to Megaman? How about a new Dino Crisis? A new Breath of Fire? Isn't a new Darkstalkers a no-brainer? Dammit, another Onimusha please.
> Dead IPs like P.N.03, Killer 7, Rival Schools, Final Fight, and Captain Commando. Dark Watch was decent.

What the hell happened? Capcom is a rich man living poorly and it would be such a monumental disappointment if they were gutted because of a buyout.

Capcom should just go back to its roots as well. I love all of their 2D beat 'em ups, as formulaic as they could be. 

Revisits to their classic games, as long as they're handled with respect and made well, would be a great idea.
