This nifty little painting comes at a good time. These days I keep reading about independent booksellers shutting down (in ever increasing numbers) everywhere in North America, because of the convenience (for some, not me) of buying books at the huge store named after a long river. It is very sad news, each time I hear of those dying stores. I'm glad to know that somewhere, somehow this little bookstore will survive forever.
