But of course the background did; you properly shaded the fire escape. Very intricate and time consuming (and backgrounds can be hard to imagine and fill with interesting tid-bits).

Wow. She's very nice, but I'm most impressed with that background. Most people would never put that much effort into it, especially for a commission. Did you do that entirely by hand or did you use a 3D render and ink over it for the base?

Thanks. It was entirely by hand. I suppose it's good that I've shown I can handle perspective, and I did charge a little extra for it, but it's true that I spent far to much time for what I was paid. That's only because, though I try, I simply haven't learned how to keep things simple (or charge more) yet.
