Hello, thank you WSi! I used Danish Oil but my finishing method is not just to apply oil. First the grain is sealed, then 3 layers or more of oil applied with a little sanding after each layer. Then it is polished in three steps, finally with carnauba wax.

it's pretty impressive you didn't split the whole thing in two once you got down to the bottom, it looks awfully fragile. And while I don't know much about Robina, I know a little about wood grain, and that must've flexed a lot while turning, regardless of what method used.
