The hair goes "white" in color due to vitamin deficiencies in the body.... that's why younger people can sometimes go completely white at an earlier age than others..... It actually doesn't have to do with age so much as a poor diet and environmental stresses.... and I have even read that stress causes the body to use up the vitamins and minerals in the body quicker, causing the white pigmentation in the hair. Also hormonal imbalances and caffeine can add to those problems.....

I agree that the color is just as beautiful......

That's quite interesting actually. I have a small patch of white hair on the side of my head. appeared when I was 14

I just watched the movie "Howls moving castle" for the first time today.

And I love how he made Sophies hair white at the end! or "the color of starlight" as Howl put it.
