Whoops, my hand slipped.I’ve seen quite a few image macros and whatnot featuring Simon with the line “you either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain” from The Dark Knight. Of course, it’s very fitting, but I thought I’d try and mix it up a bit by using this line from Shutter Island, although, granted, its meaning is pretty similar.
To those of my watchers who’ve stuck around who haven’t been on board with all my Adventure Time/Simon craziness, I apologize. I’ll start posting something different soon. I think. Maybe. I can’t make any guarantees. But to all the new watchers I’ve acquired these past few weeks, welcome aboard, and thank you!

You have a lovely style of drawing. I wonder if its a stupid question, but does it have a particular name.? Such as anime which is a named style... but is this particular or just randomly generated by what you can do?

Hmm... There's really not a specific label you can give an artist's drawing style, besides something vague like realistic, stylistic, anime, etc. Mine's more stylistic, but it's evolved from the anime style I used to draw in.

It's nice to sometimes see real life versions of these characters and this image is definitely an amazing take on this character. The only thing that's slightly off is the crown. In the series the crown is meant to have four points, although some artists for the show have made the same mistake. Apart from that it's a great image, and although I've never seen Shutter Island, this quote matches the Ice King's story very well.

That's true, but I think I've seen at least a couple of instances in the show where the crown has five points, but I could be mistaken. *shrug* I think with the way I draw, though, it works better to add that fifth point; otherwise, the crown ends up looking weird and flat, if that makes sense. So, I might have to claim artistic license on this one.
