I usually say that it is like in the northern U.S. or Canada, though everthing is smaller, animals scenery, trees, and even the indigenous people (Sami people). Everything has to do with the latitude and the Ice Age. But that the indigenous people is shorter (mean average) is of course dependent on genetic factors from long-term hard work, and perhaps less food availability.

Thank you very much, it is in northernmost Sweden. Like Canada though everything is a lot smaller (I mean trees, animals and landscapes) because of the northern latitude.
The midnight sun look like this ( if one see it at the same place in june-july) although this was not midnight and taken in August.

Thank you very much for your kind words! The place that my pictures are taken from is in northernmost Sweden, where my grandparents lived, a desolate area and much wilderness. The village name is Vivungi.
