That or the person who let me smell the animal that smelled like popcorn got the name wrong. Or I misremembered being only 11 at the time. Either way, there is an animal out there that smells of popcorn and that makes me happy.

This is so helpful! I have a bear character that I've had for years, but I rarely ever drew him because my bears never looked anything like bears. And even though I'm a lot better at anatomy now he still has a tendency to look like a weird hybridization of a grizzly and a rottweiler (he's supposed to be a glacier bear only more blue - let's be real, Bubba's a knockoff of Blue from Donkey Kong Country 3).

As someone not too familiar with bear species, this will be pretty neat to keep in mind. I also like how you mentioned the reasons some of these features exist. Could help when designing imaginary species. ^^
