Description Why is this in Macabre and Horror, you ask? It ain't his face, certainly... a surprising number of people miss the background (er. pseudo-background...) and that's what makes it macabre.

Kinda a spoiler for Rigoletto, but in that case, so was the trailer, so I'll let it be. This is Ribaldi, by the way.

I definitely think you should do more Rigoletto! This movie is so underground, I wish I could unbury it for everyone in the world. The most beautiful music, sweetest story, good for anybody with a heart.

Very well done with Ribaldi as well I like the faded figures in the background and how he stands out as his own self. I could name symoblisms galore, but I'll spare that. It is wonderful

It's so funny that this is the picture that gets the most comments, just from the people desperately searching for Rigoletto fanart, while the things from big fandoms like Batman and Phantom of the Opera get left alone.

Makes me wonder if I shouldn't do more Rigoletto...

I think it's because it's from a company which mostly makes rather preachy, condescending religious films. Only people who work at sunday schools and whatever seem to have heard to the company, and they don't care for it because it isn't like the other films from that company.

I ADORE Joseph Paur. I think I heard him on the radio once, in some children's radio show. What *is* that accent of his?
