Perpetua Lance is the adopted daughter of two human missionaries who took her in after the death of her biological mother. She herself belongs to an alien species known as the spiregliders. This species evolved to hunt in the ruins of what was once a planet-spanning city state, gliding between the decrepit superstructures as a colugo glides through a jungle.

In the first image, she can be seen inspecting a heart-like organ she’s removed from an alien animal endemic to an isolated planet that she has been stranded on. In the second image she is looking after two of her human siblings.

I also drew her husband, Gospel of Mark, who she met during college. Now they’re living together on an isolated and untamed planet that they’ve been stranded on.
