Vince fired the grappling hook at the truck's front windows to remove the glass, then another shot at the passenger's seat, securing himself to the truck. The driver tried to attack Vince using a baseball bat but was subdued by a tranquilizer by Vince as he began to take control of the truck just as it went out of control. The vehicles then went over a bridge that was closed for construction, nearly running over a construction crew. One of the Civics, driven by Letty, went under the truck to avoid any damage. With their mission complete, they began to head home.
