i thought i posted this here but it seems notanyway my newest painting.Β I started him early last year, and have been working on him in my art classes; probably well over a hundred hours in this
Itβs about A2 and done with lots of layers of pencils, pastels and watercolours

I would love to see this drawing in real life on an exhibition.
I wish I knew how did you draw Gandalf's beard so realistic,
I have difficulties with drawing curly hair in a mess like his beard and I wonder if you have maybe a photo ofΒ
how it looked in the middle of the process to show me, that would really help me to learn to draw :3Β
Btw it's one of my biggest dreams to visit your country, I live in England but I hope one day

It was basically a process of layers upon layers of beard squiggles, plus its quite a large piece so you can get more detail in
its one of my dreams to visit england (and scotland and ireland) one day
