The Shadow Torch was lit by the dark fire, and cast shadow instead of light.In the pitch darkness made by the ancient relic, only its wielder gained a bright and clear vision.
I guess she thought that it would be a great tool for assassination.

Mybe you could use it at night, or as some kind of smoke bomb. If you stay within the darkness with vision yourself, it will be harder to actually shoot you.

Sometimes people think that they are shrouded in darkness that is forever closing in on them, but in reality, if they just set down their torch of despair, they would see the beauty around them, and realize.... that not all is lost. And the torch can be misleading. Do not give in to despair.
